All eyes were on this weeks market with a shortage of meat workers being reported around the country. Fortunately the demand held up to deliver a solid market.
Trade Steers dipped 30-50c on last week ranging to $4.00/kg to $4.30kg.
Feeder Steers under 500kg were $5.00/kg to to $5.60/kg.
Backgrounder Steers ranged to $6.60/kg.
Trade Heifers ranged $4.00/kg to $4.20/kg with Feeder heifers ranging $4.80/kg to $5.50/kg.
Backgrounder Heifers ranged $5.80/kg to $6.10/kg.
Ultra light calves fetched up to $7.00/kg.
Heavy Bulls ranged $2.90/kg to $3.20/kg with little bulls for the paddock ranging $4.00/kg to $5.00/kg
Best of the Cows ranged to $3.60/kg with most Cows ranging $2.80/kg to $3.40/kg.
